the 1970s and 1980s, the workplace exploded by 50 percent. In the
decade following 2010, the portion of the population under age 45
- the principal talent pool for managers and workers - will shrink
by 6 percent. There is, and will continue to be, competition to
attract and retain the best talent from a shrinking pool of candidates.
